RIP Alexander McQueen

So Alexander McQueen hung himself this morning. We are very depressed. He is brilliant, if you have never seen his desgins you are seriously missing out.

We went casual today. Nothing too exciting, so this is the best we could do for the pictures.

Also last night we were talking about growing up in the 90's, lets all take a moment to remember that annoying noise that we had to listen to every time we wanted to connect to the internet and remember how lucky we are to now have wireless. Where are you spring?

Happy Hump Day! Yea I never say that, but there is a first time for everything. So there it was! Woah you know what I just realized... its been a week and a day since our first blog entry! Ah! So exciting!

Look at us and our paisley and floral outfits. I think we were both thinking spring when we woke up this morning. I thought the ground hog said warm weather would be coming soon. And Im waiting. Not patiently however. But it was quite cold today, so our spring thoughts were only merely translated into our outfits.

Another somewhat normal one... Although it seems like we are in pain from holding our legs up.

And now due to my roommate Anna's suggestion we attempted to fit in the dryers. Too bad we didn't fit. It was warm kinda warm in there though.

Can you see Alexis? She thinks she is camouflaging into the dryers. Not so much. I'd also like to point out that Nicholas (ps it should not be spelled with an 'h' since you never call him Nich, but we should all start spelling it that way) Collingwood gave me these tights.

Lets all do a spring dance. If that isn't a thing, its basically like the rain dance but more jolly. :)

We got mail!

Yep thats right we got mail. Stephanie got a lovely card from her grandparents with pictures from Christmas. And well in less exciting news Alexis got a letter from Reagan (her friend who is currently in Marine boot camp). Let me paint a little picture for you of how unexciting it was, Alexis opens her mailbox and starts screaming and jumping up and down. Pretty unexciting.

In other news, as we are waiting around for someone to take our picture for the day and we are eating a chocolate santa with peanut butter spread on it. And although Alexis says this is a joint effort, Stephanie is the one writing, meanwhile Alexis is feeding me pieces of her dessert. We are a sight.

A new challenger appears...

So here's the deal. There's a new fashionista in town and it's me. Nick. And I'm here to turn this scene upside down and sideways. Well maybe not. My guest appearances on this here fashion diary will be more so my futile attempts at fashion, and less my success stories at fashion. But what's an animation major to do? I try alright!?!

Anyways on to the lovely ladies that run this blog. Dear Stephanie and Alexis.

Now that the formalities of ladies first are out of the way, it's onto me.

Hot dang! Just look at the fashion limb I went out on today with this outfit. I mean rolled up pants with tall socks?? That's fashion forward if I ever saw it! Not to mention the cool canvas bag hanging over my shoulder.

The day of rest

Alright so I thought 'hey it's sunday and I'm just going to be sitting around all day doing homework' therefore didn't get very dressed up and I was all for skipping the blog for the day but Alexis simply wouldn't allow it. But just for future warning, sundays= not good days for Stephanie. But hey despite the lack of creativity in the outfit, we have posted this, we are dedicated! Plus it would just be embarrassing if we didn't even make it to a week.

Ooh ooh I almost forgot, Robert Pattenson as Salvador Dali is really really weird. Don't believe me check out the movie Little Ashes and see for yourself.

Lions and tigers and bears.. oh my!

Oh hello there!

So today was the first day without rain for like what feels like a million years (no exaggeration there). Stephanie, our fearless leader, suggested going to the zoo, well its not really a zoo to be honest we aren't too sure what its actually called. I think its called a wildlife refuge or something along those lines. But thats beside the point, the point being it was definitely the bomb.com! Yep I just said bomb.com, its totally gonna catch on again just you wait and see. Anyway man I like to ramble, sheesh. Main idea, its gorgeous, you should go. Its on the way to Tybee on the right hand side of the road. Go! I will be checking how many of you go, its also a good way for me to know how many of you are actually reading this, and if you aren't reading it, well I'm gonna take you to this zoo and feed you to the bison, no maybe the wolves. I've yet to decide.

Those are our outfits. To be honest, the adventure far out weighed the outfits today.

Ps. last night I almost ran over a opossum maybe thats why I felt the need to visit the wildlife this fine day. Guess we'll never know. But no matter the reason it was worth it.

Our friend Evan joined us. He thinks he's hot stuff, we aren't so sure.

We Met Miss J.!

Ok, so, today we went to the open model call for the SCAD senior fashion show. It was pretty intense. We waiting in this one line to get measured (don't worry we are both a good enough size :D), then in another room to wait to walk for people, who would then decide our fate. We had both once heard that Miss J. came to SCAD to help with this process but I was under the impression it was just to prep for the show, not to actually pick out the models...I don't know what Steph heard, as she is texting for me so I can write this thing. Anyway, he was actually there! It was cool. We had fun :D

For the call we were required to wear tight/fitted clothing. Of course we wore tight clothes, but being the fashion students we are, we still made sure we looked nice and put together. So here is our tight/fitted, fashionable outfits.

So after our normal shot, we decided to spice things up a bit...
